making it in Makati

One of the perks of working in Makati is that its easy to find green.

Ayala Triangle is a perfect place to do a lot of things-eat, relax, people watch, play with dogs, work or jog.

I especially love the lights at night...and would you believe, despite celebrating almost four years as a Makati (working) girl, I've never had a pic taken of the Christmas lights in Ayala Triangle. Darn!

Probably because I dont like crowded places and it get pretty crowded here at night.

Wala lang...just enjoying the view. Hahaha

Coffee loca

being a certified coffee drinker, trying out new cafe and coffee shops are a hobby--if I do it often enough!

so when BBs decided to have our traditional, annual gift-giving at Cafe Xocolat in Katipunan...I was elated!

the place had a rustic a little bit "home-y" feel to it. I loved their eclectic designs and furnitures. super cool!

I want to have something like this! uber cool!

just plain weird (and a bit creepy!) haha

  

so I bought MochaLoca... its actually gooooood!

and it was reasonably priced too!!!

I can picture myself working or studying or reading a book on my Saturday afternoon off here!  (or any given day for that matter!)

This day didnt start quite well... I was late for work; experienced ungentlemanly behaviour 4x in 30 mins; my fave scarf has a BIG tear; missing folders; extra annoying clients; work is always underappreciated; lunch at 4pm (half eaten due to more hovering clients); and momentarily got scared when the train emitted a burning rubber kinda smell.

But still I am thankful for my morning toffee nut latte (its christmas!);accomplished 2 documents;updated my tv series plus more; crazy texting frenzy with cousins; even more crazy messages from friends; meet up with OLD (literally! Haha) friend and his lady (see you again soon); and the train stopped at my station. The night end up on a good note!

The good always outweighs the bad. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! 😉

I tried this Dark Chocolate Cherry Sansrival of Starbucks.

I'm not a fan. 

Its toooo messy to eat (hahaha) and sticky! It stucked to the fork, to the paper plate...to everywhere!

I loved the cherry though! haha

I tried this because my friend loved it...guess we have different palate preference! :D
